Metasearch makes it possible to simultaneously search from different databases. In SFL these are primarily library databases.

Frank is a metasearch which the THP-project has developed together with Libraries.fi. Frank is an open source product.

Nelli
Nelli is the National Electronic Library Interface. It provides access to resources (such as e-journals, e-books and reference databases) of universities, polytechnics and public libraries.
Regional public libraries co-operate with Nelli and organize metasearching locally in their library portals.

The European Library
The European Library is a portal which offers access to the combined resources (books, magazines, journals.... - both digital and non-digital) of the 45 national libraries of Europe. It offers free searching and delivers digital objects - some free, some priced.
